The Mads are at it again! This time, they’ve taken the Somethings hostage and before they can be set free they have to review their favorite episodes of the B-Movie-Riffathon of MST3k!
Ok, so there are no Mad Scientists. There’s no SOL. There’s simply an episode of your favorite podcast. That doesn’t mean it isn’t a topic after their own heart, and with the new season coming out Thursday on Netflix, no better time to talk about it!
So repeat to yourself it’s just a show, and you should really just relax… unless you listen to us in your car. Then don’t relax, that would be horrible.
Episode 86 – The Crow
Sometimes someone leaves this world with a mission still in their heart. Whether they were murdered or someone they loved needs vengeance – sometimes… just sometimes.. the spirit of the Crow summons them back to this world and acts as their totem to invincible power. Unless you know magic. Or hurt the crow. Or are Satan. Or.. invent another rule.
That’s right – the boys are heading into the dark streets of the world of the gothy macabre and looking at the world of the Crow. We’ve watched all 4 movies (yes.. there are 4 of them) and ranked them from best to worst so that you didn’t have to even consider watching them.
It can’t rain all the time… I mean, it could, but then we would be watching Waterworld.

A long time ago, the Somethings started with Connery… and then they moved on to Lazenby and Moore.. and now they’ve arrived at the next of the Bond Series. Almost caught up, we’re seeing Dalton and Brosnan get their step up at the mic.

We the Somethings of this Cast, in Order to form a more perfect podcast, establish hilarity, insure timely updates, provide for the sarcastic defence, promote the general whatever, and secure the I’m Running Out Here to ourselves and our Posterior (..heh, butt), do ordain and establish this episode for the pleasure of our audience.
The boys are getting a little political this week – and by political – they mean they’re talking about fake people who held the office of President.
Presidents from film, television, the future, and the past are all up to debate in this congress of Hatton & Podcast Rob.
We do our best to not discuss anything related to real politics.. because seriously.. you need an hour break from that.

Episode 80 – Zombie Survival Team
The Somethings decided that since it is the scaaaarrriest of holidays, we would go and give you a treat and not a trick this year, by releasing tomorrow’s episode for you today. That way you can enjoy our spooooooky conversation while you are out haunting around.
So what is this episode about? Well – take your top four fictional characters that you want by your side during the zombie apocalypse. We take one from movies. One from television. One from book fiction. One wildcard. And then we decide who would survive.
Now, you have to figure that James and Podcast Rob are both going to think their team is the strongest, so they got themselves a judge to solve who’s team is the best of the best. None other than friend of the show, horror afficienado, from the Supernatural Department at Head Over Feels, Dawn!
So we know you are going to disagree with us… which means you should start a discussion below!

Episode 78 – Bad Movie Endings
(And in a rare instance – both of us did an opening graphic! Collect the whole set)
Not all movies are created equal. Some movies, from the get go, you watch them with full intent to laugh at the badness. Other movies you have high expectations for and they are everything you have ever wanted. They surpass your wildest dreams.
Then there those movies that, whether or not you expected it or not, the ending screws the pooch. Maybe it would have been a better movie with a different ending, or maybe the ending just tears down the journey. Whatever the case is… bad endings are very different than bad movies, although they do love to walk hand in hand.
