#PodcastBlackout w/ Gordon Baker-Bone
Tagged 2020, guests, topicalWith the state of things, it didn’t feel right or respectful to post Rob and I talking about our usual pop culture nonsense. Instead, we are taking part in #PodcastBlackout by talking less and listening more.
Joining us this week is stand-up comedian and New Jersey native, Gordon Baker-Bone talking about the murder of George Lloyd, racism past present and future, and what we can do to help today and tomorrow. You can find Gordon on Instagram and Twitter and you most definitely should.

We’re back with another journey through all of the years of television that other people sat through, and review what’s left…. the End
This month we’re talking the politically over-the-top crazy DC Adventure that is Scandal. From backstabbing lawyers, assassinating attorneys, and Presidents in disgrace, this show upped the anti every season, and now it has landed in the Oval Office of the Somethings…
Was it good? Does it hold up? Only two men know for sure, and soon you will too.
It’s time for The End: Scandal

It’s time to return to head on back to a long time ago and take a trip to a galaxy not nearby at all….
That’s right – the Somethings, always present and ready with the cutting edge commentary – are ready to talk Star Wars. If you are a Wars’y type, you likely have your opinion on whether Abrams & The Mouse nailed it, missed it, or middled it… but now you get to find out how much you disagree with two other guys on the internet!
So gather your Sith Powers (or Jedi Powers, I guess…) and get ready to boldly go where every other podcast has gone before already! It’s time to review The Rise of Skywalker! (..or is it The Skywalkers?) ..it doesn’t matter. (..and stick around, the end has a treat)

The Somethings are back with another Mystery of the Somethingverse – This time, they took it live on Twitch and discussed the tale of the Georgia Guidestones…
Have you ever heard of them? They’re one of the US’s greatest mysteries and other than some passing mentions on mystery shows, they are often not discussed or reported on. Giant slabs in the middle of a field with ‘rules’ in multiple languages, not to mention mathmatical and geological notations…
So settle in, the Somethings are getting Mysterious – and listen as they literally find new information while recording. Has this data been hidden from the world until now? LISTEN… LEARN!
Also – don’t stop listening after the episode ends, as the next Chapter in ‘STORIES TO AMAZE: D E M‘ starts right as the episode finishes up!

If there is one actor in Hollywood that has had a ton of jobs… it’s Tom Cruise, hell it is one of the defining character traits of his early career. ‘Ah, this is the one where Tom Cruise is a patent lawyer’ ‘Ohh, the one where Tom Cruise is the air conditioner repairman?’ ‘I never saw the one where Tom Cruise was a circus clown for the mob.’
So, the Somethings have taken it upon themselves to look at Mr. Cruise’s resume and list off some of their favorite jobs that he has had.
Set your E-Meter to Clear, we’re on Cruise Control…

The End – The Event

It is time, yet again friends, for a journey to the last episode of a show – whether or not we’ve seen the rest of it.
This time, we harken back to a time when shows had a lot of set-up and then endings that felt kind of thrown out of nowhere. A time of mysterious islands and scenes that felt like they were ripped from escape rooms… mysteries abound, answers lesser so. It’s time for The End, with a show Rob has seen and Hatton has not – The Event.
Was it good? Was it bad? It only got one season and ends on a cliffhanger, so the answer is probably obvious… find out what we think on — The End.
Period Pieces w/ Meredith Placko
Tagged 2020, guests, MoviesHave you checked out Livestream For The Cure yet? You should.
Sometimes, the Somethings need a little cultural – and given that normally they are as cultured as a strep throat test, they need to bring in the big guns.
Joining the boys this week is the long-time friend of the show, Meredith Placko – host, geek of all colors, and one half of the model paint powerhouse TurboDork. One of her nerddom dujours is historical fashion – so it felt like she was the prime candidate as we get down and discuss Period Films.
So get yourself some absinthe, a powdered wig, a ten pound bag of boning, and get ready to talk about the past!

Everyone has taken their shots at Joe Exotic and his war against Carol Baskins, and now it’s our turn. The Somethings were live on Twitch and got down to brass tacks… who were the real heroes in the lion’s den? Who were the real monsters? Which one of us is implicated in the death of her husband?
There’s only one way to find out — and afterwards, don’t forget to take a listen afterwards to our newest episode of Stories To Amaze: DEM!

There’s a new show that has become must-see–TV for Hatton & PCR, and it is Lego Masters (on Fox & Hulu). Every week, teams of two are competing building crazy Lego builds and only one team is going to come out on top.
Well, our guest this week just so happens to be one of the competitors who has been killing it with her teammate Sam. Jessica Ragzy Ewud (ragzyart.com) joins us to talk about Lego Masters, the art world, and a whole lot more…
So get yourself a pair of headphones, a box of bricks, and listen while you build…
