So who is joining us in for our giant glass of Nog and talking Christmas fun? Why it is the collection of wonderful personage we’ve become friends with on our podcasting journey from ACPNET.NET. John, Jason, and Matt are all hanging with us and bringing the Christmas Something along with them.
One note – I do apologize for my audio, as with all multi-guest episodes, audio mixing sometimes becomes a bit of an unkillable monster.

2022 Holiday Party
It’s a yearly tradition – the Somethings gather some of our friends and we have ourselves a big ol’ hangout. No lists. No reviews. Just talking holidays, nostalgia, and the subtle descension of our minds into an internet-addicted dystopia.

[NEW!] Christmas Party 2021
First – this is not, I repeat, not a RetroSomething… this is an all-new, all-special, all-Friday, all-Yuletide festive party. Since it’s Christmas Eve, we thought we would let you unwrap a gift first – and it is the gift of Something!
This year, we gathered with Rick & Sarah from Awesome Talk TV – we got Jeof Vita from Kung-fu Drive-In – and we got Becky & Matt from Pre-Rec Live all hanging out and talking about how the year 2021 has gone, the entertainment we ingest every holiday season, and how we, as a people, are all doomed…. You know, the sort of light stuff you can tinsel your tree with.
So please, settle in with some nog and your newly unwrapped certificate to the jelly-o-the-month club (it’s the gift that keeps on giving, Clark) and celebrate your festivus spirit with the rest of us for this Somethingcast Traditional Christmas Roundtable, 2021 Edition!

Before we get to the episode itself, from the Somethings to you – we hope you have a safe and happy holiday, no matter where you are or how you spend it.

[Throwback] Christmas-ish Movies
Happy Holidays Throwback month continues with an episode where we discuss movies that are… Christmas-ish. Sure, of course we all know about your Miracle on 34ths and your It’s a Wonderfuls, but everyone talks about those. We’re the Somethings – we need to take it a little bit further.

[Throwback] Doctor Who/ Sherlock Christmas Special
Remember back when the must-see event of any Christmas season was Doctor Who and Sherlock? We do, and we sometimes think back to those halcyon days of the early 2010s and remember fondly sitting around the hearth with our kin and arguing blitheringly about whether or not they were good.
That’s precisely what we do here, from Episode 59 where we hung out with Meredith Placko and Emma Fyffe and talked about the 2016 BBC specials.

In Review: Scrooged
Happy Holidays!
Sure, it’s early, but we’re taking next month off – so we gotta get it in somewhere.
And since everyone is getting themselves all stuff prepared, we decided to hit a a movie that had a strange beginning, but has found its place as a Christmas Traditional for weirdos… it is the scariest Christmas Carol ever put to film – SCROOGED! (I heard an old lady had a heart attack)
So join in the festivities as the Somethings discuss whether this was a well-received holiday tradition (like cranberries in a can) – or the kind of thing you tolerate just because it’s the holidays (like hugging the weird aunt that always smells like cat pee)
It’s time to be visited by three ghosts and two Somethings, so you best change your ways…. Scrooged!
Favorite Horror
It’s SomethingSpooky as we head into October!
To start us off on our month of haunting spectaculars is heading back to the well of horror. We’ve talked franchises, we’ve talked villains, we’ve talked horror battle royale – but we’ve never out and out just talked about our favorite horror movies.
So this week, Podcast Rob and Hatton are grabbing their masks, their machetes, their chainsaws, and their sexy sexy costumes and getting ready to spend an hour jawing about their favorite scary flicks.
